We really wanted to tap into all of the hats Donna has worn throughout her life using the taglines of ADVOCATE - INNOVATOR - CONSULTANT - WRITER to encapsulate the work she has done and continues to do. You will find linked pages that go in depth through each category in regards to her abundance of knowledge and lived experience.

Martin Herman began his writing career at age 75! He has been quite productive during the years we have worked with him while turning out 7 books in his Will James Mystery series along with a few other novels and biographies. It had been years since we inherited Martin’s website and it was definitely time for a total makeover. We decided on darker neutrals for his color palette which gives the feel of being in your favorite bookstore browsing through the shelves. The Will James Mystery Series is a mix of the past and modern day using many historical facts to tell the story. Thus, we branded his writing as “FACTIONAL,” where fact meets fiction!
Since Martin sells his books exclusively from his website Bookstore it was imperative to streamline the purchasing experience. Due to customer feedback on the difficulty of buying from his old website, we knew we must include an easy to navigate e-commerce CMS in the new Bookstore. The result has been phenonmenal and his online sales have increased exponentially.
Not only does Martin write, he teaches others the “tricks of the trade” through his Writers Coaching Program. He spent many years as an instructor in the OLLI program at the University of Connecticut where students were treated to his vast knowledge. He brings his expertise to new students through his virtual program which enables him to reach many more budding authors.

We met Aimee Herman through their father author Martin Herman. Once Aimee took a look at Martin’s website they decided it was time for them to have a professional website of their own. Over several years Aimee published articles, poetry, and event announcements using a blog platform which no longer met their professional needs, and she definitely needed the identity of AimeeHerman.Com.
While consulting with Aimee we learned they wanted something with splashes of color, not neutrals! Aimee has a beautifully distinct look, bright, bold and edgy and we wanted to capture those adjectives on her website.
We built on a pure white background and added color with bright orange text and colorful backgrounds in selected sections to showcase Aimee’s bold personality. We used Writer-Educator-Performer as the taglines to describe Aimee’s areas of expertise, and highlighted with photos, videos, and images. After a few training sessions, Aimee is able to do their own website updates, enter blog posts and upcoming events and access all areas on the backend of the site.
As a gay writer, Aimee is the author of the novel, Everything Grows, two full length books of poetry, and has been featured in numerous anthologies. They are a performing artist with a beginning in several New York City venues and currently holds regular events in Boulder, Colorado where they are an educator and tutor. Aimee is also available for educational Workshops and private tutoring so we created a Work With Me page on her website to allow everyone to contact them according to their needs .
Scott Bonn, PhD, is a criminologist, producer, TV commentator, podcast host, public speaker and author of the best-selling popular culture book Why We Love Serial Killers: The Curious Appeal of the World’s Most Savage Murderers. Also known as DocBonn, Scott educates about the dark side of humanity and has launched a successful nationwide live event tour, "Serial Killers with Dr. Scott Bonn."
Dark and moody was the palette we used on his one page scrolling website. We decided instead of housing separate pages for his book sales, podcast, and his regular column at Psychology Today it would be better to provide links to them.
Using 7 separate sections on the page we were able to highlight each area with visual, moving backgrounds, videos and images. We included a section for his tour dates with separate links to each venue for ticket purchases and detailed information.
DocBonn.Com is a prime example of a “bare bones” website for someone whose work links to other areas of the internet. If you are looking for a more efficient way to have a website presence, we invite you to review his website and see if it also meets your needs.
