Sandra L. Brown, MA Speaks to Zonta International Group

Local Myrtle Beach Chapter of Zonta International will hold it’s membership meeting and dinner on October 16, 2012.  The theme and topic for the evening is Violence Towards Women and Girls: What’s that got to do with love? Special Guest Speaker is Sandra L. Brown, M.A. the CEO and Founder of The Institute for Relational Harm Reduction and Public Pathology Education. Brown has been in the forefront of the issue of violence against women with over 20 years of experience at the victim level, as well as the educational level through retreats and training held regularly for mental health professionals and survivors of pathological love relationships. The audience will learn how to spot the red flags of a dangerous person with personality traits that are incurable, how to safely get out of that relationship, and how to move forward into a more rewarding life centered around a healthy mental outlook.
