As they grew older Frank preferred to operate independent of the Mob. But Tony went on to become a made man and feared enforcer of the Chicago Outfit. And in 1971 the Outfit bosses sent him to Las Vegas to keep an eye on their casino interests. Returning to Chicago after being released from prison in 1974, Frank was invited to join Tony in Sin City. It was an offer he initially declined. January is “Mob Month” in Vegas! Dennis Griffin Presents on Panel

Please join Dennis Griffin in January for three special presentations at the Clark County Library as they present Mob Month.  The presentations are in the main theater and are free and open to the public.  Everything begins at 7pm The first presentation is on January 4, Clark County Library welcomes four panelists: two from the right side of the law and two from the wrong side: Retired FBI special agent Dennis Arnoldy led the team that arrested the infamous Hole In The Wall Gang; former mafia street soldier-turned-author/filmmaker Andrew DiDonato (Surviving The Mob) worked for the Gambino & Genovese crime families;  ex-sheriff/ Internet talk show host Dennis Griffin is an author of 10 bestsellers including The Battle For Las Vegas– The Law vs. The Mob, Vegas Vixen, and Cullotta ; and ex-mobster/active government witness Salvatore ‘Fat Sal’ Mangiavillano whose testimony against mob instigators Peter Gotti & Huck Carbonaro resulted in their convictions. Vito Colucci Appearing With “Goodfellas” Henry Hill

Vito Colucci will be appearing at an event being held with Henry Hill from the movie “Goodfellas” at Pellici’s Restaurant on July 26th from 7-10pm, Then they will be at Testo’s Restaurant on July 27th from 7-10 as well. The famed PI and the “Wiseguy” will be answering questions and signing posters for the 20th anniversary of the film, “Goodfellas.” Colucci hopes that people will understand that Henry Hill, once involved with the Lucchese mob family, no longer has ties with his old life.  Hill was put into the witness protection program after turning in some of his former “family” members. The event runs from 7 to 10 p.m. and costs $50 to attend. Dinner is included and there will be a cash bar. Reservations are required; those interested should call Vito Colucci at 203-324-1174.
