Shattered Lives: Seeking Justice for Sgt. Patrick Rust

Shattered Lives Radio host Donna R. Gore welcomes former NY Investigator and full time crime author, Denny Griffin to give listeners an update on the mysterious circumstances surrounding the death of Sgt. Patrick Rust. Working with the Rust family, Griffin has worked diligently to uncover the clues that will resolve many of the unanswered questions. Sgt. Patrick Rust was assigned to the 10thMountain Division headquartered at Fort Drum in Watertown, New York. In January 2007, he returned from deployment to Afghanistan. Following a 30 day leave he was back on post. The then 24-year-old Rust was a local boy and was familiar with Watertown and the surrounding area. He didn’t have a driver’s license or vehicle. On Wednesday, March 14, 2007, Sgt. Rust moved most of his personal effects from the barracks on base to share an apartment with a fellow soldier at 156 Sterling Street, Apartment 4, in Watertown.  Listen LIVE: http://therothshow.com Join Dr. Laurie Roth and Susan Murphy Milano each Wednesday BROADCASTING AT A NEW TIME!  8-9 Pacific, 11-12am Eastern   Coroner’s investigator Alan Mason says sheriff’s deputies responded to a call about 3:15 p.m. on November 6, 2003, and found the bodies of three men and a woman at Superbike Motorsports, a bike shop in western Spartanburg County, about 15 miles north of Spartanburg. A customer found the bodies and called authorities, Sheriff Bill Coffey said. Two of the victims were found inside the shop and two were found in the front doorway, authorities said. All four victims were shot multiple times, Mason said. The victims are Scott Ponder, 30, of Boiling Springs; Brian Lucas, 30, of Gaffney; Beverly Guy, 52, of Spartanburg; and Christopher Sherbert, 26, of Boiling Springs. On January 1st, 2009, Sheena Morris was murdered in her hotel room, yet authorities quickly labeled it a suicide.  She was hanging by her neck in the shower by one of her Yorkies’ dog leash.  The crime scene was questionable as were the circumstances surrounding her ‘sudden’ suicide. Sheena placed a call to 911 the night before reporting domestic violence by her dangerous boyfriend.  She even took pictures of her injuries,  a cut on her neck, and one on her ring finger.
