The late Susan Murphy Milano turned her 20 years of experience in the field of high risk domestic violence cases into more than a book, but a tool for others to use in order to save the lives of those needing escape from a violent or stalking relationship. Tracey Murphy, advocate and intimate partner violence survivor, will be speaking at the 2013 Crime Survivors Awards Banquet, sponsored by Crime Survivors, Inc. Friday, April 26, 2013 at Anaheim Marriott, 12015 Harbor Boulevard, Garden Grove, CA. The purpose of this event is to present public safety personnel from the private and public sector with awards for assisting and helping victims of crime; Bringing awareness, prevention, and survival to all of the surrounding communities while offering resources and services to victims of crime.
