DYING TO LIVE Wins Award, Amy Susan Crohn Featured at Book Expo America

  Amy Susan Crohn is honored to receive The Next Generation Indie Book Award as a finalist in the Memoir (Overcoming Adversity/Tragedy/Challenges) category for her debut book, DYING TO LIVE, Running backwards through cancer, Lupus and chronic illness. The award is given by Indies Unlimited, an organization that celebrates independent authors “whose body of work is not obligated to a single large publishing company.” Since it’s launch, DYING TO LIVE has been an inspiration to others who recognize their own experiences within the pages, not only with their personal childhood maltreatment and chronic disease, but how the medical community worked with (or against) them. ……it’s a story of what did happen (and obviously can again) within our medical community … what goes wrong and what goes right when you’re faced with catastrophic illnesses.
