TEDx Vancouver Features Jeff Mudgett for “TILT”

    On Saturday, October 18, 2014 Jeff Mudgett will step into the spotlight of the TEDx Vancouver live event being held at the Queen Elizabeth Theater in Vancouver, BC. Mudgett has created something a little “tilted” to comply with the theme of the TEDx Vancouver conference, TILT. His presentation will swear in the audience as a “Grand Jury” to interactively conclude a legal decision: if evidence he produces is enough to show probable cause and take his case to trial, something never done at TEDx. What case? The possibility of the true identity of Jack the Ripper, none other than Mudgett’s great-great-grandfather, Herman Webster Mudgett, known in American criminal history as H. H. Holmes, architect of the Murder Castle in Chicago, IL and dubbed “America’s First Serial Killer.” Mudgett’s book, BLOODSTAINS, tells the story of H. H. Holmes from a completely new angle, a personal history combined with methodical research into an ancestor no one would willingly claim.
