Amy Susan Crohn Facilitates Suicide Awareness Event

    Brett Scudder and his SISFI Network are hosting a Suicide Awareness and Prevention NY Tour on Sept. 17th-Oct 3rd across NYC, Long Island and Westchester to bring more awareness, services, programs and resources to address the increasing numbers of people facing serious life challenges and human suffering with suicide ideations/thoughts, and supporting families of loved ones lost to suicide. On October 2 from 6:30-8:30pm there will be a Community Workshop at the Ossining, NY Public Library 53 Croton Ave. President and Chairman of SISFI, Brett Scudder says, “We are elated about this initiative and looks forward to what it will bring for the people and communities. As we build on this collaborative effort, we invite people to join us in bringing public and open dialog about the topic, challenges, needs and stigmas.” Amy Susan Crohn, award-winning author of DYING TO LIVE, lost two family members to suicide, most recently her beloved brother, artist Steve Crohn.
