Neil Schori: One of the Great Communicators

Who would you consider a great communicator?  John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Billy Graham and Ronald Reagan come to mind, as well as wonderful motivational speakers like Tony Robbins, Zig Ziglar and even Oprah. Neil Schori: The Response of the Church to Domestic Violence

Neil Schori, Pastor of Naperville Christian Church, has been invited to speak to the staff of Groundwork in Joliet, IL on April 20 about the church’s role in responding to intimate partner violence. Pastor Schori has worked closely with victims of abuse through his ministry at Naperville Christian Church and has been utilizing a groundbreaking procedure, the Evidentiary Abuse Affidavit, developed through his connection with Susan Murphy Milano, Intimate Partner Violence Prevention Expert, and used within his church.  Schori will present the basics of the Evidentiary Abuse Affidavit to the staff in hopes it will be adopted and practiced within their program to assist victims. Neil Schori is instrumental in gathering other pastors, regardless of denomination, to a mission of properly responding to abuse victims, creating a safe haven within the church and faith based community where victims can find better procedures and better resources to begin a journey away from violence for themselves and their children.
