Neil Schori Keynote Speaker at “Take Back the Night” Event

Outspoken and passionate anti-domestic violence activist, Pastor Neil Schori, has been invited by the Will County, IL Take Back the Night event to be the keynote speaker for their October 3rd event. October is the national Domestic Violence Awareness Month and events are planned across the country to bring awareness to the pandemic of violence in the hope that it can be curtailed. Neil Schori helped create the Evidentiary Abuse Affidavit working with the late Susan Murphy-Milano.  The Evidentiary Abuse Affidavit is outlined in Murphy-Milano’s book, Time’s Up: How to Safely Leave an Abusive and Stalking Relationship. Pastor Schori has been instrumental in the establishment of Document the Abuse along with Murphy-Milano’s colleague, Sandra L. Brown, M.A. of The Institute for Relational Harm Reduction headquartered in North Carolina. Pastor Neil Schori has created a program within Naperville Christian Church which has been highly successful in assisting victims of violence with the creation of their personal safety plans, the Evidentiary Abuse Affidavit, and, if necessary, providing safe houses in emergency cases. Through Document the Abuse and it’s subsequent certified training, Schori will bring this plan to others in the faith …

Pastor  Neil Schori of Naperville Christian Church in Naperville, Illinois, invited Murphy-Milano to speak to the congregation, guests and friends, about what an important role the church has played in making a difference in the lives of several abuse victims who have found sound counseling and information from Pastor Schori over the last few years. Neil Schori: One of the Great Communicators

Who would you consider a great communicator?  John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Billy Graham and Ronald Reagan come to mind, as well as wonderful motivational speakers like Tony Robbins, Zig Ziglar and even Oprah. Not only does a great communicator speak to audiences, they inspire, they motivate, and most importantly, they listen.  Neil Schori is one such person, young enough to be a budding great communicator, and wise enough to know how to grow into the role, not only of “orator” but also a giver of words for the soul. As Pastor of Naperville Christian Church, Neil Schori has had the opportunity to be more than just a Pastor giving a sermon each Sunday and teaching the lessons of the Bible to his congregation.  Neil’s works go far beyond the pulpit, and as a young, well versed individual, he speaks to those who may not otherwise hear his messages.  He speaks from a loving heart, loving his fellow human beings enough to bring them a message each week prepared from that special place in his …

Neil Schori Holding Out Hand of Hope in Haiti

Pastor Neil Schori of Naperville Christian Church is an amazing example of someone who walks the talk of the scriptures. Neil is currently in Haiti, once again, working with the people who have been devastated by all the wrath mother nature has to offer, including hurricanes and huge earthquakes.  A land that seems to be forgotten, the people of Haiti have lived for years with little or no hope of improvement in their lives.  Poverty abounds with little to sustain, except faith. Before he left his cozy home and beautiful family, Neil wrote a blog post for the “Time’s Up!” Network.  You are invited to read and reflect on the comforts we take for granted: By Neil Schori I don’t know about you, but I never seem to have enough.  Most of my months have a few days left in them when my paycheck ends.  My house feels like a zoo at least half of the time because I’ve got 5 people under a roof made for 2.  Sometimes when I look around these affluent …
