Pre-registration will begin 4pm at the shelter in Gorilla Village which is directly behind the football stadium, This event is to both raise funds for the CUE Center for Missing Persons and public education regarding safety and missing persons. The education portion of this event is to both raise awareness of issues/advocacy of missing persons and personal safety education in hopes of possibly avoiding a future heartache. Saturday, October 29, beginning at 4:30 pm at the Hampton Inn Banquet Room in Bolingbrook, IL,there will be Halloween festivities for the whole family, including raffles for various gift baskets, face painting and temporary tattoos for the kids, a DJ spinning tunes, Halloween inspired baked goods, and door prizes. A family themed event created to have fun while participating in a good cause. October 1 marked the beginning of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Guardian Angels Community Service agency’s domestic violence program, Groundwork, kicked off the month with a 5Kwalk honoring victims of abuse. Team Missing Stacy Peterson participated and has continued collecting donations for the agency along with other teams.
