Family of Missing Donna Jou Hold Press Conference on 24th Birthday to Update Details in Her Case

  Friday, October 14, 2011 the family and supporters of missing college student, Donna Jou, will be gathering at 10:30am Pacific Time at 210 W. Temple Street (in front of Criminal Justice Building) in Los Angeles, California for a press conference observing Donna’s 24th birthday and to update the public about new information in the case. On June 23, 2007, 19 year old college student, Donna Jou disappeared under suspicious circumstances from the home of three time convicted sexual predator, John Steven Burgess, located at 3617 Faris Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90034.. Earlier this year, Donna’s confessed killer, Burgess, was released from prison after serving 2 years of his 5 year sentence, then quickly remanded to Los Angeles County Jail on lesser charges.  He will no doubt be eligible to be released back into society in the near future.  The family feels there should be enough information and evidence to re-open the case and seeks a better measure of justice for their daughter and demands recovery of her remains. Confessed Killer, John Steven Burgess, to be Released April 15 San Diego, CA……Donna Jou went missing on June 23, 2007 after meeting with a man who answered an ad placed on Craig’s List offering tutoring by Ms. Jou. That man, known as both John Steven Burgess and Logan Anderson, eventually confessed to playing a part in her death and disposing of her body from a boat in the Pacific Ocean around San Diego, CA.
