True Crime Classics: Deidre Marie Capone, author of Uncle Al Capone

  True Crime Classics airs Thursdays 1pm ET on  Here Women Talk! Al Capone was Public Enemy #1. He even made the cover of TIME Magazine. He was also a family man in more ways than one. Al Capone is America’s best known gangster and the single greatest symbol of the collapse of law and order in the United States during the 1920s Prohibition era. Capone had a leading role in the illegal activities that lent Chicago its reputation as a lawless city. Throughout the book, Capone tries to reconcile what she knows about her family with recorded history.
