Anny Jacoby Facilitating Darkness to Light’s Stewards of Children Program

Program trains adults to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. Taking a bold effort to reach into communities across the country, Anny Jacoby has trained and become a Prevention Specialist and Facilitator for Darkness to Light, an organization whose mission is to train adults in every community to responsibly attack the issue of child sexual abuse.   The focus of the Stewards of Children Program is to effectively shift the responsibility of recognizing and reacting to child sexual abuse to adults, and teach them how to make a local impact. “Stewards of Children is the only national program which is evidence-based and proven to increase knowledge, improve attitudes, and change child protective behaviors.
