She only kept Shawn out of spite, and than deprived him of bring a child, and instead off trying to fix themselves to raise him right they locked him up. How any human can hurt a child is beyond me, they don’t know better and all they wasn’t is attention and love…..
This show was one of the most horrible cases I have seen. I wanted to pull that little boy who was playing Shawn through the TV to keep him safe. How could anyone listen to their child crying for help and let them burn to death? Shawn wasn’t wanted by anyone but Gretchen’s friend and she should have left him with her. I feel so bad for Shawn. Gretchen and Gloria were both monsters as well as Gloria’s husband. They should have been kept in prison until their own deaths occurred.
