Victims pay to be illegally transported into the United States only to find themselves in the thrall of traffickers. They are forced into prostitution, involuntary labor and other forms of servitude to repay debts – often entry in the United States. In certain cases, the victims are mere children. They find themselves surrounded by an unfamiliar culture and language without identification documents, fearing for their lives and the lives of their families.ICE is serious about ending human trafficking.”

Dottie Laster is one of the nation’s leading advocates for human trafficking victims, a certified and experienced trainer to law enforcement and advocates across the country, and one who has clearly taken up the issue of awareness and education of human trafficking globally. Laster has been involved in the rescue and restoration of over 200 victims across the country, and through the Bernardo Kohler Center she is accredited to practice immigration law.
Dottie Laster has been featured in The Cantinera Documentary, Texas Monthly, MORE Magazine and all major networks and news programming. Hour #2: Raymond Bechard: Child Cyber Abuse and Sexual Exploitation Online is Big Business
In a recent article Raymond Bechard writes about yet another way children are being exploited for sex, online sex for money, for as little as $20 to watch “the show.”
Philippine based charities are looking for thousands of children who are victims of a growing crime: live online “shows” featuring the sexual abuse of children.
He describes a typical “cybersex den” in the city, a small house, with a corrugated iron roof. “It was almost empty inside apart from a dirty mattress on the floor and electric sockets hanging from the ceiling.
