Your Health is Wealth with Dr. Akoury
Monday-Wednesday-Friday at 12:30pm on WFXB FOX TV
Special guests: Horry County Police Chief, Saundra Rhodes, Lt. Robert Kegler and Dr. Fouad Ghaly
Addicted individuals are found in every community, every home, school and neighborhood. What are the consequences to everyone when even just one addict is suffering? Whether it be alcohol, drugs, sex, or even work, addiction is holding our citizens captive within a prison inside themselves.
Your Health is Wealth with Dr. Akoury welcomes leaders from the communities across the country to discuss addiction and its ramifications to others. Chief Saundra Rhodes and Lt. Robert Kegler of Horry County Police Department appear to educate viewers on the crimes directly related to addiction and what options they have to help.
Horry County Police Department is working to be very proactive within the diverse population in one of South Carolina’s largest counties. Most think of Horry County as the location of the Grand Strand, Myrtle Beach and it’s attractions. It’s this very assorted and transient population that contributes to the issue of addiction and adds to the criminal element Chief Rhodes and her officers are faced with daily. On the other end of the spectrum, most of Horry County is comprised of rural areas which are also hotbeds for alcohol and drugs.
Dr. Fouad Ghaly joins the show to discuss treatment options for all types of addiction. Dr. Ghaly practices in Torrence and Beverly Hills, CA and Aspen, CO and has been the doctor to many celebrities. He is recognized as one of the most influential physicians working in the field of regenerative medicine therapies and the Founder of The Ghaly Center of Regenerative Medicine.
Dr. Ghaly and Dr. Akoury talk about the differences in addiction treatment options, what works and what doesn’t work, and their collective opinion that the body must be treated as a whole; spirit, mind and body, to expect a total cure for addictions. They both agree that restoration of the bodies imbalances must occur for a successful addiction treatment, as well as long term commitment by the patient to continue maintaining a healthier lifestyle.
The most important message for viewers who may have addiction to alcohol, drugs, and even becoming more prevalent, prescription drugs, is that there is help in overcoming that addiction. AWAREmed Health and Wellness Resource Center and Dr. Dalal Akoury have devised a natural, painless, and very successful treatment program, not only as a treatment, but lifestyle changes to insure that treatment remains successful and patients can move into a new chapter in life with support, love and a balanced body.
Addiction to painkillers is one of the most frequent issues now being seen among addiction specialists. Patients with pain need to know there are other ways to alleviate the pain, going to the root of what’s causing the pain and addressing instead of offering prescriptions for higher doses. Yes, there is another way and it can be found at AWAREmed Health and Wellness Resource Center.
