Twenty percent of U.S. patients were also found to be on five or more prescription medications. If you aren’t shocked by these findings, you should be! Americans are becoming addicts at an alarming rate, and doctors are becoming legalized drug dealers, some unwittingly contributing to the epidemic of prescription drug addictions.
