Does the 1st Amendment protect the opinions of online bloggers? Alex Goddard was put to the test when she created a firestorm surrounding horrors of the case of gang rape involving members of the Steubenville, Ohio football team. Listeners will learn about her efforts to help bring information to the public through writing about the case on her blog and what happened when she was sued!

Alex, aka “Prinnie” is a well respected crime writer whose  blog containing facts of the case became a rallying point for those who would not let this case be swept under the rug. Through social media networks this case became national news and now we wait to see support for the rape victim, “Jane Doe.”
