Dr. Scott Bonn, PhD has appeared as an expert crime analyst on a number of popular news programs, including Dr. Drew, and has written about and been quoted extensively on a variety of high profile cases; an article on the Casey Anthony verdict in New York Daily News, and a recent appearance on the A&E Documentary Special on the Long Island Serial Killer.

Doc Bonn’s research into the criminal mind, and his experience with media relations in the public and political realm, gives him the ability to analyze certain behaviors utilizing criteria above and beyond the average pundit.  He combines the knowledge and skills of an academic scholar with more than twenty years of senior-level corporate experience in the news and entertainment media industry.

Dr. Bonn is the host of a popular one hour weekly radio show, “An Hour to Kill with Doc Bonn,” discussing crime, criminology, white collar crime and other issues of importance. He has appeared on numerous television and radio shows to comment on high profile crime, criminal behaviors, and true crime cases. He is the author of the critically acclaimed book, Mass Deception: Moral Panic and the U.S. War on Iraq, which argues that the George W. Bush administration manufactured public support for the war on Iraq through media manipulation and public panic. Dr. Bonn’s newest book will be about serial killers and the public’s fascination with them, utilizing his expertise in criminal and deviant behavior patterns and his extensive research and correspondence with some of America’s killers behind bars.

Dr. Bonn is located in Manhattan and can be present in any of the New York City news network studios for on air appearances or feeds to affiliate stations. He is available for live assignments as well as commentary or remarks for print and speaking engagements.
