Meet Joe Hosey, Editor of the Shorewood Patch, a new site devoted to all the news and events in the growing town of Shorewood, IL!
You don’t hear a lot about Shorewood in the news, and that’s strange, considering it’s a town with quite a bit going on.
For all it has to offer, Shorewood hardly gets a mention in the newspapers and media websites. It’s been that way for years, but that’s all about to change, starting today.
That’s because today is the first day forShorewood Patch—an online news source devoted exclusively to Shorewood.
From now on, Shorewood Patch is going to cover everything about this village. From schools, politics and crime, to food, shopping and sports. You name it; if it’s in Shorewood, we’ll have it.
And Shorewood Patch is going to have more than just stories. The site is going to be filled with photographs showing life in Shorewood, not to mention videos, columns and reviews.
Shorewood Patch also has the most comprehensive directory of Shorewood businesses you are going to find—on or off the web. If you are looking in the directory for a business and don’t see it there, let us know and we’ll add it.
While there is plenty to read and watch on Shorewood Patch, there is plenty to do too. The site is interactive. You can post announcements and events to the Shorewood Patch and make your voice heard by commenting on stories.
It’s free to register and sign up with the Shorewood Patch, and once you do, you will be able to affect your community by broadcasting your thoughts and opinions. Join the conversation by liking us onFacebook and following us on Twitter.
And if you want to let me know what’s going on or tell me personally how you feel about things, drop me an e-mail at joseph.hosey@patch.com or give me a call at 815-409-5881.
This is a great town, and now it’s got a great news outlet covering it. So visit us every day atshorewood-il.patch.com.
