Vito Colucci, Jr., owner of Colucci Investigations LLC, is a former member of the Stamford, CT Police Department where he worked as a Narcotic’s Detective and Undercover Organized Crime Investigator. One of the main investigations Vito spearheaded during that time was uncovering the organized crime ties within his own police department.

Vito has been a private investigator for the past 22 years, working many high profile cases; Michael Skakel/Martha Moxley case, Jayson William’s case, and honeymooner, George Smith’s case .

Vito Colucci is a regular commentator on various news programs including: Fox News MSNBC, Catherine Crier/Court TV, Star Jones, Glenn Beck, Nancy Grace, Larry King, CNN Headline News, and The Bill O’Reilly Show, as well as being a featured speaker at the first World Investigator’s Conference in LasVegas in 2005.

Doug Burns

Douglas Burns began his legal career with the New York City law firm Shea and Gould. He left the firm to join the United States Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of New York where he served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Criminal Division from 1987 to 1996. When he left the U.S. Attorney’s Office, he was Deputy Chief of the Long Island (Criminal) Division. Mr. Burns has practiced law in the private sector since leaving the government, and is currently of counsel to the Westbury, New York law firm Pryor and Mandelup LLP. He practices in New York City and in Long Island. His areas of practice include white collar defense, SEC enforcement, regulatory and administrative law, and federal and state trials and appeals. Mr. Burns has tried in excess of forty cases to verdict in the federal courts, numerous criminal cases in the state courts and has briefed and argued more than twenty five appeals in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, both as a lawyer for the government and as defense counsel. Mr. Burns also appears quite frequently in the media as a legal commentator, on CNN, HLN, Fox News Channel, MSNBC, Bloomberg Television, Tru Tv (formerly Court TV) and Fox News Radio. He has also taught in various trial advocacy programs at NY area law schools. He is affiliated with the Nassau County Bar Association and the Theodore Roosevelt American Inn of Court in Nassau County, where he served as president of the organization during the 2008-2009 year.
