Domestic Violence Advocate and Activist Lyn Twyman To Broadcast New, Live Talk Show on Party 934,

Lyn Twyman debuts  live talk show called Courage Empowerment Forum on Party 934, Tuesdays from 9pm – 10pm EST.

Lyn Twyman, domestic violence advocate, social activist and entertainment producer is airing a brand new, weekly talk show on December 14, 2010 on Party 934, 94.9 FM Hudson Valley, NY, an independent, multi-genre station that broadcasts worldwide.  The show is called Courage Empowerment Forum and will broadcast live every Tuesday from 9pm – 10pm EST.

Produced by Lyn Twyman, Courage Empowerment Forum is a program that will have featured guests discussing real stories and resources for those affected by domestic violence, crime victimization and other social issues.  The show’s guests will come from various backgrounds and share their stories in an effort to inspire and support those dealing with tough, personal issues in their day to day lives.

“As a survivor of domestic violence and child abuse, I know first hand how important it is to know that someone understands.  I also know that people need to find a way to get help or just need that added boost to take the next steps.  That’s what this show is about,” says the show’s producer, “I hope that through this show, people will also be inspired to ban together and change their communities where they are and the use of entertainment, in particular radio, is just another tool.”

Courage Empowerment Forum will have a multi-faceted platform of topics dealing not only with abuse and crime but also race relations and the family.  Show guests will be survivors, community activists and nationally recognized authors and experts.  The show will also play various music in its hour of broadcast including R&B, Smooth Jazz and Pop.

Party 934, 94.9 FM also features other independent hosts, called party mixologists, who come from various backgrounds of broadcast and entertainment.  For example, Courage Empowerment Forum will air after Hip Hop Justice Radio, the only radio program worldwide to mix law and justice commentary with hip hop music.  The show is hosted by Attorneys Dr. Scott Washington and Stevie Stylez.
