Anne Bremner

Anne Bremner’s 26 year career has established her as an exceptionally accomplished trial lawyer. She maintains an active law practice as a Litigation Shareholder at the Seattle law firm Stafford Frey Cooper.

She is a former Judicial Law Clerk who spent five years earning a reputation as a highly successful, tough, and focused King County Prosecutor. Her private practice has an emphasis on high-profile trial work. She represents the Seattle Police and other Washington State police departments and officers as well as Judges and public officials in civil and criminal trials. She has represented Washington State Attorney General (now Governor) Chris Gregoire and the Attorney General’s office in a highly publicized civil action.

Ms. Bremner was defense counsel and obtained defense verdicts in Vili Fualaau v. Highline School District and the Des Moines Police Department (the “Mary Kay Letourneau case“).

Anne has been selected as one of Seattle’s Top Lawyers in the Seattle Metropolitan Magazine as she has been identified by her peers as an attorney who has reached the highest levels of ethical standards and professional excellence.

Anne has also recently been named in The Best Lawyers in America reference guide. Best Lawyers compiles lists of outstanding attorneys by conducting exhaustive peer-review surveys in which thousands of leading lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional peers.
